Dr. Braulio Mariano-Mejia serves as Medical Director of CARMAhealth's Coral Springs practice, where he oversees clinical operations and ensures every patient receives comprehensive, evidence-based care. Board certified in both [Internal Medicine](https://www.abim.org/) and [Addiction Medicine](https://www.abpm.org/), he brings a uniquely integrated perspective to behavioral health treatment.

With more than 15 years of clinical experience and over a decade specializing in addiction medicine, Dr. Mariano-Mejia is skilled at managing the complex interplay between psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. His dual training in internal medicine allows him to address co-occurring medical issues that many behavioral health providers overlook.

Dr. Mariano-Mejia earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed an [Addiction Medicine fellowship at the University of Florida](https://psychiatry.ufl.edu/training/fellowships/addiction-medicine-fellowship/).
